April 2-3, 2011 - cleaned the yard and witnessed the beginnings of some awesome tulips, daffodils and other early spring flowers beginning to show up in the yard! Also transplanted many of my geraniums/hanging baskets as well as the pots that will sit outside the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce.
April 23, 2011- noticed a few little spikes of garlic are starting to show up in the garlic patch! Success (well, so far). The rhubarb is up along with the chives - which I used today to baste the 22 pound turkey-bird we are serving for Easter dinner tomorrow.
April 28, 2011- added some cute pansies to the Chamber Pots. They have been getting many hours under the fake sunshine and are starting to look a little less puny than the picture above! Hooray for that. There are a few daffodils up along with the cute mini ones pictured above. They look a little worse for the wear from the snow but it is what it is.
